The Film Day allows us to use films and documentaries in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language, with the following objectives:
- To provide an insight into the cultural context of Spanish-speaking countries.
- To improve listening comprehension by exposing students to a variety of accents and idioms.
- To enrich vocabulary with authentic and real language.
- To catch students’ attention, motivating them to learn more effectively.
We screen two films simultaneously in order to adapt to our students’ level of understanding of Spanish.
Advanced level
